Changing the mouse pointer color in Windows can be a great way to personalize your computing experience or make the pointer more visible against different backgrounds. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to change the mouse pointer color in Windows 10 and Windows 11:

For Windows 10:

  1. Open the Settings app by pressing Windows + I on your keyboard.
  2. Navigate to Ease of Access.
  3. Click on Cursor & pointer in the left sidebar.
  4. In the Change pointer color section, you’ll see a few options. You can choose the default white or black, select from a range of suggested colors, or pick a custom color.
  5. To choose a custom color, click on the Pick a custom pointer color option, which will open a color palette.
  6. Select the color you prefer, and it will be applied instantly.

For Windows 11:

  1. Press Windows + I to open the Settings app.
  2. Select Accessibility from the sidebar.
  3. Click on Mouse pointer and touch.
  4. Look for the Mouse Pointer and Style section and select the Custom option.
  5. Here, you can either choose from the recommended colors or click the Choose Another Color button to pick a custom color from the palette.
  6. Once you’ve made your selection, the new color will be applied to your mouse pointer automatically.
