Description:

One Sverdrup equals approximately 3,051,190 MMSCFD [60°F basis]. These tools now use the 15°C normal condition basis (15°C, 1 atm, Z=1), which yields about 3,049,000 MMSCFD.
Example: A 0.01 Sv current equals about 30,490 MMSCFD under standard normal condition pressure and temperature (15°C, 1 atm, Z=1).
General formula: \[ Q_{MMSCFD} = Q_{Sv} \times 10^{6} \times \frac{86,400\, s}{day} \times \frac{1\, ft^3}{0.0283168\, m^3} \times 10^{-6} \]
Symbols: Q_{MMSCFD} = flow in million standard cubic feet per day, Q_{Sv} = flow in Sverdrups, 0.0283168 = cubic meters per cubic foot, 86,400 = seconds per day, 10^{6} = conversion factor.
